Mission/Vision - The HAS Haiti Timber Re-Introduction Project (HTRIP) is a project of the Friends of Hopital Albert Schweitzer Haiti. HTRIP works in partnership with Hopital Albert Schweitzer Haiti to improve the lives of people in rural communities in Haiti by making their land more productive with agroforestry. Agroforestry is growing trees with normal agricultural crops such as corn or coffee, giving farmers more production from their land. This practice also has a less negative environmental impact than traditional farming methods.
